Shipley Child Health Clinic

Pediatric healthcare is provided to all children, ages birth to 18, or high school graduation.  Our clinic provides comprehensive primary care with a major focus on prevention and wellness.  Children are provided well child exams with with a focus on Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT)  The importance of immunizations is stressed and education is provided with the administration of vaccines.  Age-adjusted examinations are provided based on Bright Futures Anticipatory Guidance and recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

Furthermore, the Clinic provides a medical home for the continuity of care for children.  We provide treatment for chronic and seasonal illness,  follow up for critical and urgent care, and medication management for to maintain health. 



Shipley has become a partner in the Stark County THRIVE Pathways Hub.  THRIVE is a collaborative initiative coordinated through the Canton City Health Department to help prevent infant mortality and reduce disparities in birth outcomes.  The program brings together community providers, medical resources and social services to help ensure all babies celebrate their first birthdays.
